The Robotics Society of America (RSA) needs your help to create a professionally produced, Web-based TV series about RoboGames. There are just 15 days left in their KickStarter campaign, and the RSA is already more than 70 percent of the way to their $40,000 target. But they need your help to close the gap!
While the show will feature lots of robot combat, flying metal, saws, and flames, RoboGames includes other, less aggressive challenges. These include robot soccer, robot Kung Fu, sumo robots, hockey robots, fire fighting robots.
While many competitions exist for students, RoboGames prides itself on including competitors of all ages, from around the world. Rewards for donations range from t-shirts, tickets to the event, advertising opportunities, and the opportunity to drive a 220-pound robot called Vlad the Impaler in the competition.
